about
If given the choice, my dad would have preferred I make a million dollars as a child actress than to have a normal childhood. Coincidentally, I didn’t make him a million dollars or have a normal childhood.
lyrics
My….father wanted me to become famous
So he gave me a famous machine
I kinda only thought that he was kidding
But he would always call to check up on me
I couldn’t fit my whole body into it
So I decided to start with just my feet
By Monday morning all my friends were calling
To say they’d seen me dancing on TV
Well I wasn’t really much of a dancer
But I thought, hey, I could wiggle my hips
I thought that I’d put them inside - But they never got a chance to try
A Hollywood Producer said they’re way too wide
So I thought about puttin’ in my elbows
Cuz they were as skinny as could be
And my eyes, mouth, teeth, and throat and nose didn’t seem like very good possibilities
But I was getting’ so annoyed at the famous machine
It was takin’ up all the free room I’ve go
So I busted it to pieces and threw it in the yard – now it’s makin’ a good flower pot
